SOME OF THE ART I HAVE BEEN MAKING RECENTLY: one of my cousins from france was in town for my cousin christie’s wedding(s) and wanted a large painting of mine to take back with her. i had a week to start and finish a piece and i ended painting over and remixing an older painting i had in my living room.
have 2 large paintings and 3 new plush dolls in a group show in arlington at the artisphere. the opening was the same night as christie’s (second) wedding reception which was hectic and stressful for me but turned out just fine in the end.
been messing around with paper cuts for a book my friend marshall is putting together. it’s crazy time-consuming but i think i might love it. i have been thinking about trying to do away with black outlines anyway…
