NEW PAINTINGS DAY 4 AND 5: holy smokes! it’s been over a month since i painted?!? dude…not cool. bad me. anyway, last night’s work was pretty much obliterated by tonight’s, which is awesome. i feel like i’ve finally begun to really PAINT as opposed to drawing with paint (if that makes any sense.) painting digitally with the tablet and pen has actually made me a little more carefree with my real paintings. i welcome the chance to get out of my comfort zone and to try (slightly) different techniques. it also supremely liberating to paint over things i do not like. maybe i should start painting over the parts i do like and see what happens…
